Virat Kohli born in Delhi into a Punjabi Hindu family. Virat Kohli’s father name Prem Kohli and his father worked as a criminal lawyer. Virat mother name is Saroj Kohli and she is a housewife. He has an older brother name is Vikash and an older sister her name is Bhavna. Kohli’s family lived in Meera Bagh until 2015 when they moved to Gurgaon. Kohli’s father died on 18 December 2006 due to a stroke after being bed-ridden for a month.

Virat Kohli’s brother married with Chetna Kohli and have a son name is Arya Kohli. And his sister married to Sanjay Dhingra and she have two child one boy name Ayush and a girl name Mehak.

Virat Kohli make his debut for One Day Cricket Match in Indian Cricket team on August 18, 2008 against Sri Lanka. In age of 19 as a opener in his first match kohli make 12 runs this cricket series India win by 3-2. Virat Kohli in his 4th match against Sri Lanka he makes his first half century. His first century against same team which he debut international cricket career Sri Lanka on the day 24th December 2009 in Eden Garden Kolkata ground.

Virat Kohli Test Debut on 20 June 2011 against West Indies in Sabin Park. Kohli made his first century in test match against Australia Border Gavaskar trophy Jan 2012.

Virat Kohli T20 Debut on 12 June 2010 in Indian Cricket Team against Zimbabwe in Harare. He score 26 runs not out on his debut match. Since his debut Twenty20 International (T20I) match in 2010, Kohli is yet to score a century in the format; his highest score of 94 not out was made against West Indies in 2019.

Virat Kohli appointed as Captain of Indian Cricket team Virat Kohli was appointed the Vice Captain of the ODI team on 2012 and handed over the Test captaincy following Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Test retirement in 2014. In early 2017, he became the limited-overs captain as well after Dhoni stepped down from the position.
