Virat Kohli born in Delhi into a Punjabi Hindu family. Virat Kohli’s father name Prem Kohli and his father worked as a criminal lawyer. Virat mother name is Saroj Kohli and she is a housewife. He has an older brother name is Vikash and an older sister her name is Bhavna. Kohli’s family lived in Meera Bagh until 2015 when they moved to Gurgaon. Kohli’s father died on 18 December 2006 due to a stroke after being bed-ridden for a month.

Virat Kohli make his debut for One Day Cricket Match in Indian Cricket team on August 18, 2008 against Sri Lanka. In age of 19 as a opener in his first match kohli make 12 runs this cricket series India win by 3-2. Virat Kohli in his 4th match against Sri Lanka he makes his first half century.
