The BCCI said that, “The All India Selection Committee has named Axar Patel in place of Ravindra Jadeja for the ongoing Asia Cup. Ravindra Jadeja injured his right knee and was ruled out of the tournament. He is currently under the supervision of the BCCI medical team. His replacement Axar Patel who was earlier named as a standby in the squad will soon join the squad in Dubai.
