Another Sweet Dish we bring for you today Carrot pudding (Gajar ki kheer)
Recipes Rice along with carrots are also used to make carrot pudding. But the real taste of carrot pudding is in making it without rice. Come, let us make Carrot Pudding today.
Necessary Ingredients –
Red Carrot :- 400 grams (2 carrots)
Milk :- 1 liter (full cream, 5 cups)
Cashews :- 1 tbsp
Raisins :- 1 tbsp
Cardamom :- 4
Almonds :- 4
Sugar :- 100 grams (1/2 cup)
How to Make –
Put milk in a heavy bottom vessel and heat it, peel and grate the carrots until the milk boils. Remove the stalk on both sides of the carrot and the hard part in the middle.
After the milk comes to a boil, pour the grated carrot into the milk and stir it with a spoon. When the milk comes to boil again, reduce the gas, and let the kheer be cooked. Take a small cut of cashew nuts. Break off the raisins stalks and clean them. Add cashews and varieties in the kheer and mix. Allow the kheer to cook on a slow low flame, until the milk and carrots fall together when the kheer falls with a spoon. Add sugar to the kheer, the kheer is ready. Turn the gas off. Peel and mix cardamom in the kheer and mix.
